'Withdrawn in Trepidation' - Short film
This award-winning short film was created at the early stages of our careers. By outward appearances, the lead character Alex blends seamlessly into the growing crowd of young adults who call Uptown Charlotte home. But look closer. Trapped inside a self-made world of fear, haunted by intense visions that challenge boundaries of reality, Alex falls deeper into isolation and struggles to maintain control. In this psychological thriller, we invite viewers to take a wild ride inside the mind of a millennial who battles personal demons that threaten to overwhelm and paralyze him. 'Withdrawn in Trepidation' was a film that our team had the pleasure of making from start to finish alongside Brett Ramker of Rogue/Hous Productions, and Ben Potts (Audio Engineer).The short film would go on to win 'Best Thriller' and 'Best for Sound Design' at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards. Additionally, it received the 'Best Mystery Thriller Award of Excellence' at the Southern Short Awards in Atlanta, and was nominated for 'Film of the Month' in The Monthly Film Festival.
